This atlas of Cumberland County, Penna by F W Beers is dated 1872 - it is in wonderful condition save the front page which can be repaired or taped by the next owner - NO paper loss. The book measures 13" x 16", the gray-green board covers are fine - slight wobble to the front cover but not loose at all - just slightly less than 100%. The many colored maps are on every page, over 35 or so, maybe more. There are several 3 page fold-outs of Mechanicsburg and Carlisle including separate wards and large and detailed maps of every corner of the county from Newton to Frankford - I didn't realize how... |
