This is a rare, on linen, 1885 Atlas/Map of the Murray Hill Kips Bay section of Manhattan and includes from East 27th Street to East 40th Street and from Sixth Avenue to 12th Avenue. The map measures 19x28 1/2. It is in Ex/Ex+ condition with VERY minor imperfections that does not affect the graphics. Historical landmarks include schools, churches, Metropolitan Opera House, factories previous landowners and old roads that are superimposed over the existing 1885 roads and date to the 18th Century.
